Holla to the Calder Cup

This weekend brought the Calder Cup to our neighborhood. Mr. Champion (pictured center) won the Cup with his team the Chicago Wolves. (For those that need wikipedia to translate, the Calder Cup is the Stanley Cup of the AHL, the minor league). His family hosted a Calder Cup party and we had a blast sharing in the celebration.
They even gave the kids mini-Calder Cups to celebrate!
Of course, the little ones even had a turn drinking out of the cup...throroughly sanitized, and containing kool-aid this time around.
This picture of Bryce in the cup cracks me up. He was just pudgy enough to squeeze in there.
