Happy Birthday to Benny!!

Bennett is 9!  How is this possible?  My baby Bennett, is 9!!  His last year in double digits!!  It was also his last day of school before Christmas Break, so he had quite the day!  Class party and everything!!

He was SUPER excited to get his McKennie jersey that he wanted!!

As requested, his team had a futsal game on his birthday, then off to Red Robin to eat dinner out together as a family...of course the girls enjoy messing with the SnapChat filters!!

Saturday he had his first birthday party, World Cup themed, which was super fun, because the World Cup is every four years and usually in the summer, but because of the location in Qatar, was right around his birthday!  We had his party scheduled around the 3rd place game.  I was very lame and didn't get any pics, except this one another mom sent me of all the kiddos lounging!  Bennett loved it!!

 Bennett is just a GREAT kid!  He's been so flexible through these years, being homeschooled for a year and a half through covid, then transferring to a new elementary school when he returned last January.  He absolutely LOVES sports, loves talking scores and when the next game is.  Favorites are Michigan Football and the Packers!  He still says he wants to be a banker like dad when he grows up. I told him today that it's so fun to watch him grow up with older siblings, because he knows phrases and things most 9 year olds don't talk about because he is around it...he never watched many little kiddie cartoons because everyone else was already moving on!  We were talking with the kids the other night about love languages and talking through everyone's and Bennett said his is physical touch...he loves to snuggle and be by people.  He is a proximity kid and I'm treasuring it!  Love you Bennett Evan!
