Last night I took the girls and my mother in law to see the Nutcracker. I have not seen it in years and I always want to watch the ballet, but it's just not Jason's thing. As a surprise, I purchased tickets in July!! and last night we went. I dropped the boys off with some pizza to my father in laws and the girls went out for dinner and then the ballet.
I nearly burst into tears hearing the introduction from the orchestra...I've heard it so many times on cd or the radio, but in person, just sublime. Can you imagine composing something so rich, so amazing??!! Fantastic seats, fantastic production!! Wonderful memories!!
