A week of firsts....sniff, sniff

This has been a week of firsts for Reagan. Tuesday Reagan went back to ballet lessons. She has moved up into the "blue" class (thus the blue leotard). Many of her friends from last year are in the class again, as well as the same teacher, so that has made that transition wonderful. Compared to last year when she cried and cried before I (gently) pushed her in room, off she went this year.
Reagan's first day of preschool was today. I can't hardly believe she is GONE TO SCHOOL. We went for an open house on Wednesday and she has been asking me nonstop when I was just going to "leave her there". She has been so excited for school. On our way in, she didn't even want to walk with me, let alone hold my hand (I got a polite "no thank you" to that request). She gave me a kiss and walked in her room. That was it! Bryce then proceeded to come up to me, try to give me a kiss so he too could have fun. Luckily Bryce's tears over not staying helped occupy my misty eyes at the fact I was leaving her at school. Time has flown by!
Her pretty new dress...she is also wearing my add a pearl necklace I had as a child. I think I got this from my great-grandma, it has 6-7 pearls on it, so I'm hoping we will continue to add on to it as the years go by. At least she had something of me with her even if it didn't matter to her, it was very sweet for me.

With her backpack on, ready to go!

Sorry for the sideways pic, but of course, we have a princess backpack for this year.
This is Reagan's teacher. As you can tell, Reagan already has warmed up to her and she seems absolutely wonderful. We have to jet and pick her up...can't wait to hear about the wonderful adventures she had today.
