the ever increasing vocabulary O' Bryce
Bryce has got a lot to say recently and it's getting some good ole' chuckles from Jason and I. He is doing so well...and so many people say "boys talk slower", "2nd borns talk slower", blah blah blah. Bryce is up to the task.
Some recent new comments include:
"Jump, mommy, jump" (off the bottom step)
"Good throw" (to himself while we play catch)
"Thank you mommy" (this is completely precious and sometimes even comes without prodding!)
"Thank you my daddy"
"I'm coming" (when responding to where are you?)
"Bye-bye doggie" (when we are leaving)
"dump" (daddy is teaching him this lovely word for when he poops!)
"sissy" (for Reagan, again cute as can be!)
"this" (continues to be the word for pacifier....because I would often say, Do you want this?)
"monkey" (for blankie, don't really know how this one came about)
I'm even getting some "love you's" out of him, but he has to be in the exact right mood.
He can also answer....what's your name? "Byce"
He is a sweetie and all boy. I love watching him gravitate towards the trucks, balls, hockey sticks etc. He is 20 months now...and we love him to pieces!!
Reagan is doing great at school. She absolutely LOVES it. I don't get too much out of her when she returns home, but I know she is in great hands. She has become a wonderful helper here at the home. We have turned to a chore chart to help encourage positive helper behavior. It's amazing how much incentive a sticker on a chart can be. I know, enjoy it now while it doesn't cost me anything to inspire her!
Sorry, no pics this time, but I wanted to give a quick update on the happenings around here. All is well!
