Our beautiful finished basement!

Our basement has undergone quite the transformation here in 2009! We have been dreaming about finishing our basement for the 5 years we have lived in our home, and now it's a reality. Bear with me and the pics. Above: rec room

i will now refer to this room as the "man cave", because i will probably never see jason again!

it's a wonderful space and we are thankful that we now have even more living space in our home. we are expecting our first visitors this weekend, so my parents will now have deluxe accomodations in the guest suite!

reagan and i will be visiting preschools over the next week. i actually found out i am "late" in my search, some classes are full already (who would have known? obviously not this first timer for preschool!!). starting on friday we are going to go see where reagan will go to school in the fall. i can hardly believe that! we are considering charter school for her in kindergarten and that is a lottery system that i can put her in as early as this fall. time to start thinking ahead!
bryce has been doing much better. i'm unsure if it's related to being non-dairy or not, but we'll take it. i'll be curious to see what the dr. says when i call back next week. i'm hoping we can reintroduce dairy. i have been talking with MANY moms around saying their children have had very odd strains of the flu this year with many of the symptoms/problems bryce has had. i was so comforted to hear that, because i have been plain ole' baffled!
i'm off to go stare at my new bathroom some more! ta ta!
