A Trip to the County Fair
Reagan and I just returned from a 4 day visit to my parent's house and the county fair. I really could not wait to take her there to experience everything. And lucky me (and for my pocketbook!), she doesn't realize there are rides at the fair, so it was all about the animals!. Reagan got to go on a pony ride 3 TIMES!!!! and cried each time when we took her off. She held on tight and never needed any help, she had a blast. We made visits to EVERY barn with cows, sheep, pigs, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens (one of her favorite words to say!). My dad was amazed that she could name them all when she's never seen most of them out of a book. We, of course, sampled many of the fine, healthy foods the fair has to offer. Reagan got her own ice cream cone, which in the 90 degree heat dripped quickly all over her outfit. She had her first corn dog, cotton candy, and mama enjoyed the many trips to the baked potato tent.
After my dad put her on the first tractor, we had to sit on quite a few more to experience each one. She is completely fearless! Thanks meme and papa for a great visit! We missed daddy though and were happy to reunite last night. Daddy said Griffin sat by the back door the entire time we were gone waiting for us to return. I guess he is my dog!
I'm feeling really good, I am 17 weeks now, and am really looking forward to my ultrasound on Sept. 11, when hopefully we will find out whether it's a boy/girl. Reagan's going to be a great big sister!
