Little Reagan, she is such a stitch. This morning we were woken up to a toddler rendition of "deep and wide". You know, the hymn
Deep and wide, deep and wide, there's a fountain flowing deep and wide.......repeat.
but, lil' Reagan only says "deep.....wide". It is just precious. Jason actually told me that's what she was saying, I couldn't catch it from our bed. It is awesome to watch seeds being planted in a 2 yr old!
The other funny bit is when we sneeze, she now can say "bless you". We were at Jason's grandma's on Saturday, Reagan sneezed and she blessed herself, and Ruth got such a kick out of it. So precious. She is listening to everything, because at lunch today, she kept saying "crap". Guess there's a word I need to eliminate from my vocabulary!
I really do love that she can talk and express herself, but she is really talking nonstop. I sometimes just want to "shhh" her...isn't that terrible? Just for a minute to think clearly...she labels everything she sees, points out colors, and if you don't repeat what she says, she will continue to say it until you say it back. And no, you can't just say "uh-huh...really?". I know, we're just beginning here, but we've had a bit of a language explosion around here. It's so wonderful to see this little girl emerge.
