This dude had a blast at 5th grade camp...it was a bit of a rough start...Bryce took a very hard hit to his face at a soccer game and had some very serious swelling behind his ear and jaw. I received a call from camp the first morning because he was in a lot of pain and wanted to come home. I was able to encourage him to stick it out and see if the meds kicked in, as well as prayed over him. Thankfully with all that, he was able to stay and enjoy himself. They kept him well medicated to stay on top of the pain. After 6 days and not much reduction in the swelling, I did take him in to the doctor and we had xrays taken just to rule out a fracture. So thankful nothing was fractured and with a steroid prescription, the swelling has gone done significantly and his body is healing up well!! Ah....soccer ⚽️
