A trip to the air zoo

Last week, the kids had winter break, so I surprised them with a trip to the airZoo.  We had never been there, and decided to check it out!!  For reference, this place had almost 900 people there on Saturday.  On Monday, we were the ONLY people in the place until noon and then maybe 8 people were there!  We had a fantastic time, and the kids were able to enjoy attraction after attraction.  In the flight simulator, they would go, she would open the door, they would ask to go again, and she would shut it for another ride.  This went on maybe 8-10 times!!  What a treat!

They also have veterans that work there that give you tours and talk about the planes. They were so good with Bryce and Reagan having them ask questions about specific planes.  What a great day we had!!  Bryce said it was his "best day ever"!!

They had a great mix of fun rides and information, so it was great to split up times of learning with times of fun!

The flight simulator was very cool, you could flip it upside down and every which way while you flew with 3D glasses.  Bryce rode the first time and Reagan watched from the bench and said no way!  She got up the courage to go with Bryce but instructed him not to go upside down (haha).  Of course that didn't go as planned and we heard LOTS of screaming that ride and I honestly couldn't tell if it was a terrified scream or having fun!  She opened the door and he kids said "again"!  What a riot!!

So glad we went and the kids are already asking when we can go back!!
