Today we got to help our great grandma Ruth celebrate her 99th Birthday. We are so thankful for her 99 years!! Unfortunately, our family has had a little trip down Sickness Lane, so the only 2 healthy ones, Reagan and I, got to go to the party!! We didn't want Grandma's gift to include a Birthday Cold!!
We brought her her favorite raspberry torte, balloons, cards, and an infinity scarf (in the pic above). My friend, Holly, made this for her, and she loved it!!
Grandma still lives on her own, and is able to have wonderful wonderful conversations about the past, present, and future. I was talking with her tonight, and as she is the oldest of 5 girls, she told me that the first 3 were born within 30 months! Wow!! She has almost lived an entire century, just think of that!! We love her so very much! Happy Birthday Ruth!!!
