Merry Christmas from the Halls
I'm thinking this might be the last you hear from me before Christmas, so I have quite a recap to give you of the past few days.
Last Friday Reagan and I went to see the Nutcracker downtown with a professional ballet company. It was a student performance, so for $5 a ticket, it couldnt' be beat! Only the 2nd act was shown, and the music was canned, but it was lovely and we both had a blast!

Saturday saw the 1st of 4 Christmas celebrations for our family (our poor kids!). The Hall family was Sat complete with Happy Birthday Jesus cake. This is actually the "best" picture we got of all the grandkids together.
Bryce got the Armor of God playset for Christmas. Something Jason says he always wanted as a kid and never got (here's your chance, honey!). Bryce was a little dazed at first trying everything on, but soon got the hang of it and was stabbing all of us with the sword!
Reagan got a new Christmas outfit for her Bitty Baby, Bella. We had her out all ready to take and she got left on the kitchen island....so we got to dress her when we returned home.
No Hall family gathering is complete without naps by MANY members of the family.
Today we let the kids open their presents from us. Bryce got his Handy Manny motorcyle. Although I couldn't get him to turn this way, the smile on his face was quite evident! Reagan got the crib for her baby Bella, something she had been wanting. Unfortunately, it came without the screws needed to hold it together, so that will have to wait for real play until that arrives. I'm sure American Girl is going to be getting LOTS of calls over the next few days over that one!
So, hope this will tide you over until I have more Christmas pictures from Christmas #3 and 4. May you be blessed with your family near you in this wonderful season. Love, the Halls
And finally, Reagan had been working on a "surprise" at school. It is so hard to keep a surprise when you are 4 and she did SO well. We opened up this lovely manger scene today....she did all the cutting and pasting herself and did such a wonderful job. We were proud of her!
