1st day of SCHOOL

Well, you know we just keep things interesting around here, or maybe you could call it crazy, so 3 kids in 3 different schools, with different 1/2 days, start dates, you know, why not?  Ruthie started on a Monday, Bennett and Bryce on a Wednesday and here we go!  Ruthie in 10th grade, Bryce in 12th, and Bennett in 6th grade at a new school.  I know parents are supposed to be proud of my kids, but I really am.  Bennett has had quite the school adventure..he started in the same elementary as the other 3, then covid happened during his kindergarten year.  I homeschooled him for 1st grade and 1/2 of 2nd grade.  When he went back, we transferred him to a different elementary within our district, where he finished up 5th grade.  Now, he’s at the Christian Middle School that will feed up to Ruthie’s high school, so another year of change for him.  He’s taken it all in stride, he has a few friends from his previous soccer team that he knows and he’s ready to go.  Here’s to a great school year!!

Can you believe this is my sweet Bryce on his first day of kindergarten…seems like just yesterday.  That’s seems so cliche to say, but it’s so true.  Went by in a flash…
