We caved!

We bought a fake tree this year...it really is a beauty (and should be for the price tag!), but it's just weird!  We have enjoyed getting a real tree for all these years now, but this year with how late we are in getting the tree we decided to "invest" and get one that will be ready anytime next year!!  Reagan was in tears over the tree until she saw how pretty and lifelike they were.  I just love hanging the ornaments, memories of places we've visited, major life events, and cute handmade ornaments from the kids.  How can you not well up with thankfulness at all God has blessed us with again this year.  Thankful that He is Emmaneul, God with us!!!
Although it's not beginning to look a lot like Christmas here...we are having a thunderstorm in Decemeber...Ruthie was out riding her bike last weekend.  Just weird!  I don't love driving in all that white stuff, but it sure does do something for the atmosphere of Christmas...I'm sure by March I wil laugh at this silliness I'm writing today!  Merry Christmas!!
