Shake your booty mama!
This was Reagan's command to me last evening. Jason has so graciously taught her what her booty is, and how to shake it, but she's never put it together in a different context. It was quite humorous!
At church Wednesday night, I recieved the first baby gifts. I was so excited! It's finally coming! Reagan even got a beautiful hooded towel, which princesses on it, nonetheless! She had to wear it out of church over her coat, slept with it, and wore it most of the next day. As I was laying her in her bed for her nap, she was asking for it. Definite A+ on the gift! The baby got a cute knitted hat with a sailboat on it (homemade, thanks Sharon!), a blanket with fleece and polka dots (again homemade, thanks Sharon), and a blue hooded towel for him (thanks Liz for your handiwork!). What a blessing, thanks ladies...and I'm sure our son will thank you, as he would have been cuddling in pink towels after his bath!
We celebrated Christmas with Jason's family this past weekend, and princess seems to be the theme of things around here. Reagan got a dress up set, complete with skirt, shoes, wand, tiara, purse, earrings, bracelet, ring, and necklace. She has had them on nearly all day, every day since we've been back. She is much more aware of what's going on this year, she's excited for the tree (the 12 footer that daddy and she picked out last week!), the star on top, the stockings and the presents. We are using an advent calendar to count down the days until Jesus' birthday, because that's when we get the presents. For any of you that know me well, we never hold out until Christmas morning for gifts, our family can hardly wait to share...so this is a supreme test for me this year!
All is well here....34 weeks and counting! My bag is out and we are readying ourselves for Baby Halls' arrival!! Have a great weekend!
