Thanks to Ruthies soccer coach, we had vouchers to catch the local AAA team in our hometown...even BETTER, he set aside great seats for us and took us on a little backstage tour of the ballpark. We first went up to the suite level to see the production rooms, the media rooms, the main room and met the announcer and on field coordinator. We even said hi to the owner eating in his suite! He then took us into the locker room and got to be inside there and chat with a couple guys inside who are in charge of taking care of all the boys!! Even their menu of what they eat is dictated by the major league team and what they want the boys eating at meals. In his words "no more raiding the concession stands after games and pigging out on whatever..."
What a great time we had at the game, beautiful night for baseball...and fireworks at the end to cap the night off! I just love summer fun!!
