Our trip to 'Zona
We enjoyed a wonderful week in Arizona visiting my parents over Spring Break. It was hot and sunny the entire week, like usual! It actually did rain overnight one night and I think it's the second time in the 30 times I've been there that it's rained!!
Here are my parents with all their grandkids, from 2-10.
At the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson. It was 98 degrees that day and most of the museum is in the hot sunshine. We were pretty toasty that day!!
The drive up to Mt Lemmon. There is a great app that tells you about what you are seeing while you drive, Reagan and I really enjoyed listening to it...it was timed on the way up and was perfect!!
At the very top, 9000 ft!! It was 56 degrees up top, about 95 in the city!! We were planning to ride the ski lift up, but it was a tad costly with the 8 of us, so we found a free road that took us up even higher!! I think the pokey ski lift may have frozen us anyways, it was windy and cold!!
We successfully wore the kids out night after night!!
We had a great time and were sad to come back to the snow!!!! Ugh! Thankfully we had about 4 days of some crappy weather and spring has finally arrived! So thankful for our fun vacation to 'Zona!!
