Goodbye to a fun soccer career!

 And then, we said goodbye to Bryce’s soccer career.  Starting out probably at 4 years old and advancing all the way to a MLS Next 2 team he’s had quite the journey.  His first year of club, he played quite a bit of goalie and they lost every game, and not just lost, but got kicked most games.  Then, they continued to add better pieces to the team and little by little they went from Divison 4 to 3 to 2, then Elite, Then Premier, then off to MLS Next.  I will miss the sidelines cheering him on.  We’ve met so many wonderful families that we’ve spent countless hours freezing and sweating and traveling together.  Our boys have grown up together!!    I’m thankful for all the disciple and life lessons sports has taught him.  He’s had to really organize and prioritize lots of activities year round, even working on top of it all.  Here’s to new seasons!!
