And…he’s off!!

 We dropped Bryce off at Kettering on Thursday..and he’s off!  It’s very weird to have him gone already when most of his friends are still enjoying the height of summer!  Thank goodness his dorm has air conditioning so he is cool!  I have been dreading this day for a long time, but excited for him at the same time.  I didn’t embarrass myself too badly (ha!), but man, I’m going to miss that kid.  He’s already off and about a lot around here, he’s very social and likes to be busy, but the dinner times, going to church together, that’s going to be a tough one.  Thank goodness Reagan is still home for the summer, that will be really crazy when she moves back into school and it’s the 4 of us left!  Today is Thursday, so it’s been a week, and I haven’t cried since Sunday, so I’m taking that as a major WIN!  I know he will do well and is already making friends and getting acclimated.  In fact, today he was headed down to do laundry as he was wearing his last pair of shorts, so that might be his biggest test of the term!  Thankful he’s only gone until the end of September and he will back here for his co-op for the next 3 months.  We love you Bryce, listen for God’s voice and leading…be your awesome self!!
